A Monht. A Day. A Year

A dream. A nightmare. Reality. Serge is a young man living with autism and dealing with ongoing depression. He lives on a schedule to try to keep his negative thoughts in check. Everything comes crashing down when he has to face his fears in a confession for therapy.

Red. Yellow. Shadow.

Two friends play a silly game they saw on TikTok. What started out as a fun time quickly turns into an exploration of trauma, guilt, and bloodshed.

in this house: a visual art piece

A collection of images, existing films, and personal footage. All of these melted together to show the destruction of time and the decay of beliefs. Ranging from religious beliefs, identity, and the collapse of Western Society.

A Serpent's Tale

This film was initially made for a contest, but it missed the deadline. After carefully reviewing it, I realized the story didn’t have as much depth as I originally intended. To salvage the project, I cut it down and made it more of an experimental horror short. The basic premise: A man gets possessed and dissociates time.

digital Armageddon

A short political art piece.

Momo

A short horror film based on the popular Creepypasta.

August 31st

A short experimental doc filmed on August 31st, 2021.

Turmoil: My First Film

In 2014, I wrote a short film I was determined to make, and a year later, my two brothers and I filmed it at my grandmother’s house with nothing but one video camera and no real filmmaking experience. At the time, the most I knew about editing was Windows Movie Maker, so after two difficult but memorable days of shooting, the footage sat untouched on a flash drive for years. Then, in 2021, I found myself thinking about this little movie again, and after revisiting the footage, I was surprised by how much fun we had making it. I had been so focused on making a “serious movie” that I forgot how funny and meaningful the experience really was. With the editing skills I’ve gained since then, I finally felt ready to finish it, and while it definitely still has an amateur feel, I think it turned out better than I ever expected. For what it’s worth, I think it’s kind of cool, and I’m pleased to finally introduce my first official short film: Turmoil (2015/2021).

Gamer Perspective: Short Student Doc

A short doc/interview made during my final year at college.

Creeper

A 1-minute film made during the COVID Lockdown.

Perturbation

A young man carries around his anxieties everywhere he goes. No matter what road he travels, it’ll always be with him.

-

This is my second official short film. I really like this more than the first one I made. It's still on the experimental side, but I had a great time making this. Some of the audio is still hard to hear, but I wasn't using my microphone. I love the look of this for sure. I hope you'll like it. This was shot on an iPhone X and Nikon D3300.

REM Sleep

Anything can happen in a dream. A young man dreams he’s in a sketchbook. Everyone is abstract. He never wants to leave, but his mind keeps sending him signals to wake up. He can’t stay asleep forever.

-

REM Sleep was my first official short film to be released. It’s a spontaneous, surreal comedy. It’s a little more on the experimental side.

This was shot entirely on an iPhone X.
